This protocol aims to guarantee a safe, discrimination-free, and fully inclusive space for LGTBIQ+ individuals within Freeda Language Space. It seeks to promote equality, respect, and visibility of sexual, gender, and affective diversity, aligning with human rights principles and the values of the Instituto Cervantes.
Respect and Inclusion: All members of the educational community must be treated with dignity, avoiding any behavior that discriminates against or excludes LGTBIQ+ individuals.
Zero Tolerance for Discrimination: Attitudes of harassment, violence, or exclusion based on sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression will not be tolerated.
Use of Inclusive Language: Respectful and non-discriminatory language is encouraged in classrooms and institutional communication.
Visibility and Awareness: Activities and educational resources will be promoted to raise awareness of LGTBIQ+ diversity.
The privacy and confidentiality of each student's gender identity and sexual orientation will be guaranteed.
Each individual's chosen name and pronouns will be respected, even if they do not match official documentation.
Safe spaces will be encouraged where students can express their concerns without fear of discrimination.
Training activities on sexual and gender diversity will be organized for students, teachers, and administrative staff.
Participation in awareness and visibility events such as Pride Day and the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia will be encouraged.
If a case of discrimination or harassment is detected or experienced, the following procedure will be followed:
Reporting the Incident: Any affected person or witness to discriminatory acts may confidentially report them to the school administration.
Investigation: An analysis of the case will be carried out to protect the affected person and take appropriate measures.
Corrective Actions: Depending on the severity of the case, sanctions may range from warnings to expulsion in cases of severe harassment.
Support and Guidance: Psychological support and counseling will be offered to the affected person if needed.
Gender-neutral restrooms or unrestricted access to restrooms will be ensured.
Representation of LGTBIQ+ diversity will be encouraged in educational materials and school communications.
Open dialogue channels will be established to gather suggestions for improving inclusion.
Freeda Language Space reaffirms its commitment to defending LGTBIQ+ rights and creating a diverse, safe, and respectful educational environment for all individuals.
