Hello! My name is Txell and I love languages. I speak Spanish, Catalan, English, French and a bit of Japanese. Therefore, I know very well what it means to learn a language and, for me, it is a tool that opens many doors and allows you to get to know other cultures.
As a teacher, I am creative and organised and I like each class to be like a new adventure, where the student feels comfortable and safe, in an atmosphere of trust and cooperative learning.
And speaking of adventures, I am also in charge of the school’s excursions and events – I love showing my city and my culture to the students!

I am from Tenerife (Canary Islands). If there’s one thing I’m passionate about, it’s music, and my students know it from day one. I also like cinema and literature.
I always try to have a good atmosphere in class, because my main challenge is that besides learning, we have a great time.
In addition to teaching in different academies in Barcelona, I have worked as a volunteer for several NGOs and associations.

I like classes in which we all participate.
I believe in the teacher as a guide and at the same time as part of the team, learning is a journey that we all go on, reading, talking, listening to music, experiencing the ride, getting to know each other!

After years of teaching Spanish I am still fascinated by helping people who come to learn to communicate better every day.
I like languages and having fun.

I am from León and I have been teaching since 2001. I have lived in other countries and, in addition to Spanish, I speak English, German and a little Russian.
I think that the most important thing when learning a language is what you do with it when you are not in the classroom.
My classes are creative, intense and useful.

Hi, I’m Alicia. My passion for language and my love for reading led me to study Hispanic Philology. My professional career has been primarily focused on teaching Spanish, a profession in which I have been learning and evolving for 12 years.
What I love most about teaching Spanish is the challenge of teaching something so dynamic and rich, helping students to use it and learn to value it. I consider myself an attentive and empathetic teacher. I highly value dialogue, initiative, and motivation. That’s why in my classes, I seek to enhance active participation and interaction through varied, dynamic, and motivating activities that allow students to apply what they learn in real life, making the learning process natural and progressive.

My name is Mª Ángeles, but everyone calls me Marigel. I have been a Spanish teacher for 28 years. In my free time I enjoy yoga, hiking, reading and writing.
The main objective of my classes is that students are able to speak and interact, so I prepare activities that lead them to do so in an easy and gradual way.
If you want to speak Spanish, we are waiting for you!

Hi, my name is Mari, and I have been working as a Spanish teacher for 11 years. I am also a DELE examiner.
For me being a teacher is not just a job, but a very important part of my life. I am an open-minded, sociable person with character and a lot of fun.
My classes are usually quite communicative without forgetting grammar rules and other important skills to learn a language. I try to adapt myself to the student in order to apply the different teaching methods I have learnt over the years. However, I think that what most characterises my classes is positive energy and good humour.

Hi! I’m Alicia, I’m from Barcelona, and I studied Hispanic Philology and a Master’s in Advanced Hispanic and Latin American Literature at the University of Barcelona.
For me, it’s essential to get at least a few laughs in every class — I truly believe learning should be fun, engaging, and full of surprises. I love using games as a teaching tool; they bring people together and create memories that stick. I’m always bringing something new and unexpected to class, so you never quite know what’s coming — like a box of chocolates.
P.S. My chihuahua Reina often joins our sessions at Freeda — feel free to say hi if you spot her around. She takes her role as chief supervisor very seriously, though she does spend most of her time napping.

Hi there! I’m Naná Rovira, I’m a Spanish (ELE) teacher with over 10 years of
experience teaching both Spanish and music, and I truly enjoy helping people grow and
feel confident.
I hold an ELE certification from International House, a degree in Music Education, and
I’ve also studied English Philology. I speak English fluently and have a B1 level in
French, so I understand what it feels like to learn a new language.
My goal is to create a warm, supportive space where you feel comfortable, motivated,
and encouraged to speak from day one—without fear of making mistakes.
I love getting to know my students, adapting each lesson to their goals and interests, and
building real connections while learning and enjoying the process together.
I’d love to help you on your Spanish journey!
