Initially, I chose Freeda to learn Spanish because they have a convenient location in the historic center of Barcelona (El Born district) and a schedule that suits me: 2 hours of language learning in the evening, 2 times a week.
Freeda turned out to be an excellent school, and I have never regretted my choice.
The lessons are based on a modern and effective book, and they also use additional materials such as games, interactive activities, and most importantly, a lot of speaking practice. I’m in Marigel’s class, and she’s very friendly and fun. The atmosphere at the school is also very pleasant.

I’ve been studying at Freeda for almost 8 weeks in the A1 Program, having started with zero Spanish, and I’ve noticed a huge improvement since beginning.

The school is extremely welcoming and, in my opinion, runs very efficiently. From my first inquiry through to enrollment, I’ve always felt supported, with all of my questions answered promptly. I also really appreciate that they regularly check in on your progress and never pressure you to extend your studies. Instead, they help you figure out what’s best for your learning and schedule.

All in all, it’s a great school that I plan to continue studying at long term.

I had a great experience at Freeda. The teachers are excellent and the administration made everything easy, including helping me with my visa process. I always looked forward to class, and being allowed to bring my dog was a huge plus for our quality of life. I recommend to everyone!

I’ve been studying at Freeda for 8 months now and I love it! Dulce and Lorena are both incredible and invaluable teachers and my level has improved dramatically since I started. I love the small class sizes and specialized attention, there’s plenty of time made for conversation practice in addition to the grammar lessons.Once a month they have field trips for the students and they’re super fun and culturally engaging, and they also host lots of social events at the school. Very warm, friendly atmosphere that is ideal for learning a new language. Highly recommend this school to everyone!

I have been learning Spanish here for 9 months, and I don’t want to stop.

I started from zero and now I’m already at a B1 level.

The teachers are amazing — I feel it’s a safe space to make mistakes and even ask “silly” questions. I really like the balance between structure and academic approach on the one hand, and fun and flexibility on the other — we play games, do quests, and even the hard grammar topics suddenly feel manageable.

I am attending Spanish class at Freeda language school, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience. The teacher is exceptional—highly knowledgeable, patient, and engaging. The class atmosphere is welcoming and supportive and the curriculum is well-structured. I highly recommend this course to anyone looking to learn Spanish in a friendly and professional environment!

I started studying at Freeda in the summer, and I take an evening course twice a week. The lesson lasts for 2 hours, and there is a lot of conversation practice and engaging exercises. My teacher, Marigel, is amazing, and it’s very comfortable and fun to learn with her. She always pays attention to each student and explains grammar in a clear and understandable way. The whole group loves her.

I study at the cozy branch in El Born, and I would like to express my gratitude to the administrator, Daria, for creating a pleasant atmosphere at the school.

After a few months of studying, I have noticed positive progress in my understanding of Spanish. I’m interested, and I’m gradually building up the necessary foundation.

Offline language learning in a group has proven to be the best option for me, and Freeda School has been an excellent fit.

As for my wishes, I would like to see more additional activities from the school, such as group walks around Barcelona or language clubs ❤️

One of the best language schools, in my opinion. I’m very grateful to our teacher Tamara, who made learning Spanish truly engaging and kept us motivated. Her teaching style is professional and effective — you start noticing real progress after just a few classes. The school in Gràcia has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and it’s a place where you enjoy coming and spend days to learn language.

When I was choosing a year-long Spanish course in Barcelona, I researched many schools and read reviews. Therefore, I hope my review will be useful to someone who is currently making a choice 😁

I have been learning Spanish here since October, starting from almost zero, and my language level has improved much more than I could have imagined in such a short time. In my daily life (in cafes, hospitals, banks, and the Camino de Santiago), my current level is sufficient, and I can even read books.

The training is really very effective: 4 hours a day, of course, is a lot, but this time is definitely worth it.

I also like that the school constantly organizes some additional activities for students – excursions, holidays, calzotada :))) With all this, studying is even more interesting.

I haven’t regretted a single day that I chose Frida 🥰
